THDA Rent Relief

Are you behind on your rent or utilities due to COVID?

THDA's COVID-19 Rent Relief Program helps residents impacted by COVID-19 pay up to 12 months in past due rent and utilities or if the loss is recent, up to 12 months in future rent and utilities. THDA's COVID-19 Rent Relief Program serves Tennesseans in 91 counties. The program serves the neediest families in Tennessee so income restrictions are in place. Renters who have experienced economic hardship beginning on or after March 13, 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and who meet additional eligibility requirements will qualify for this assistance. Residents OR landlords can start the program application process (see the red button on THDA's COVID-19 Rent Relief webpage) but BOTH MUST participate. Payments will go directly to the landlord or utility company.

Dickson Housing Authority encourages all Housing Choice Voucher participants and public housing residents to sign up for these relief funds.
