RFP – Painting Services

Request For Proposals: On-Call Painting Services For Public Housing Units

The Dickson Housing Authority is seeking qualified and responsive painting contractors to provide on-call painting services for public housing units as needed. This opportunity allows for a flexible collaboration to ensure our communities remain vibrant and well-maintained.

Scope of Work:

  • As-Needed Basis: Contractors will be engaged as needed for various painting projects.
  • Interior and Exterior Painting: Services may include both interior and exterior painting of public housing units.
  • Drywall Repair and Finishing: Services may include drywall repair and finishing
  • Emergency Repairs: Rapid response required for emergency touch-ups and repairs.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship for a lasting finish.

Requirements for Proposal Submission:

  1. Company Information: Provide details about your company, including relevant experience and capacity for on-call services.
  2. Hourly Rates: Clearly outline your hourly rates for labor, materials, and any additional charges. Due to specific paint requirements, paint will be furnished.
  3. Response Time: Detail your ability to respond quickly to on-call requests, especially for emergency repairs.
  4. Insurance and Licensing: Ensure compliance with all necessary insurance and licensing requirements. General Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance required.
  5. References: Include references from previous on-call or emergency projects.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Proven experience in providing on-call painting services.
  • Ability to respond promptly to urgent requests.
  • Demonstrated reliability and quality workmanship.

Pre-Proposal Conference: An optional pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Dickson Housing Authority, 333 Martin L. King Jr. Blvd., Dickson, TN 37055 This session will provide an opportunity for potential bidders to ask questions and gain clarity on project expectations.

Selection Process: Proposals will be evaluated based on responsiveness, experience, rates, and references. Selected contractors will be included in a pool for on-call services, with notifications as projects arise.

This on-call painting services initiative is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with the Dickson Housing Authority and contribute to maintaining the visual appeal of our public housing units.
